Zombies descended on downtown Barrie in search for brains during the 4th annual Zombie Walk. Many Zombies learned how to use umbrellas for the rain soaked event.

Kids trick-or-treated through downtown Gravenhurst as part of then annual Spook-Tacular event. Despite a constant downpour of rain over 70 kids, parents, and local shopkeepers took part.


South Muskoka Shield VS Mattawa Voyageurs

The South Muskoka Shield faced off against the Mattawa Voyageurs in a GMHL game held at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre. The Shield won 10-4 in a penalty filled game.

80 year old Bob Wild, from Huntsville, recently won a bronze medal in his age group at the Duathlon World Championships held in Nancy, France. He would have finished in second place if he didn't miss a turn on the bike course that forced him to do one more 7 km lap than everyone else.

World Triathletes

Dave Ramer and John Biggs are two of five Muskokans that are going to the World Triathlon Grand Finals being held in Auckland, New Zealand. They qualified for the event at the 2011 Bracebridge Triathlon. In New Zealand they will represent Canada in the Olympic Race Distance Triathlon.
