The signatures of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip from the guest register in Torrance from their visit to the town in 1959. The "R" after Elizabeth stands for Rex, latin for royal. The original signatures were on display as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Torrance.

The town of Torrance held a re-enactment of Queen Elizabeth II's visit to Torrance in 1959 as part of the continuing celebrations commemorating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Crystal Neil subed in as the Queen.

Ed Sutherland and his amazing HO scale train display in his home in Bracebridge. He has spent over a decade building the amazing scenery for the display which takes up half his basement, with the other half being a workshop for building, modifying, and maintaining his collection.

Bracebridge Phantoms VS South Muskoka Shield

The Bracebridge Phantoms of the GMHL took to the ice for their first game in team history against their Gravenhurst rivals the South Muskoka Shield at the Centennial Centre. The Shield honored former captain, Gravenhurst native, and the GMHL's all time leading scorer Dylan Sontag by retiring his number before the game.

The Phantoms would win their inaugural game 5-3.


Recovering From Lyme Disease

Lyne Bond from Bala is recovering from Lyme disease, it can take months or even years to fully recover from the disease. Lyne used to do cross country running before her illness which left her unable to even walk for months.
